So the question everyone wants to know when it comes to writing blogs is do you really make any money doing that blogging stuff? Or is it just another self indulgent thing that people do on the internet to get attention? Well believe it or not yes people do make money for blogging and yes a lot of people do blogging everyday and never make any money at all. So what would be the difference between those people that do and those people that do not make money from their blogs?
Well the biggest difference that I have noticed between bloggers that make money and those that do not is their approach. People can tell inside of the first 10 seconds of being on your blog if it has any value to it or if it’s just thrown on the internet with no thought. First things first blogging is not a get rich quick scheme that anyone can pull off. I don’t care how much “Top Secret Blogging Software” you buy it will not give you the real deal long term success that real bloggers enjoy.
Blogging is hard work that involves true dedication and vision for the long term especially if your goal is to make money. Don’t give up your day job if you think that blogging will be the financial solution to all your problems either. It’s a slow building process that will most likely take years to achieve before you could consider blogging as a source of full time income.
Blogging is a competitive market that has millions of people from all over the world doing the very same thing your are thinking about doing right now, blogging for money. If you are serious about it make sure you are in it for the long haul and work to stay true to yourself and as original as possible. Be willing to take risks and put yourself out there and be ready to make mistakes for when you do those mistakes will be your best opportunities to advance your goals. Look for other successful bloggers to learn from especially those that are writing about being a successful blogger. For example one of the better resources I have found in terms of reading and learning from a successful blogger has been from Darren Rowse and his ProBlogger site. There are many others out there like Darren that are successful examples of what a truly dedicated blogger can achieve.
